The Trex Hideaway Groove Cutter is a 3-wing router bit designed to work with the Trex Hideaway Hidden Fastening System. The carbide blade cuts a groove in the square edge profile almost identical to the groove in Trex grooved edge boards. The cut is delivered on the underside of the board at every intersection of the deck board and support joists, as well as the entire edge of the board. The installation process allows for a clean, fastener-free deck surface. The groove cutter works with Trex Transcend, Trex Enhance, and Trex Select deck boards.

Traditional square edge deck boards use standard deck screws and plugs for installation. Using the Trex Groove Cutter precisely grooves the underside of the board to perfectly fit the Trex Hideaway Universal Hidden Fasteners.
