Description

Diamond Pier is an innovative foundation system that utilizes a precast concrete head, 4 steel pins, 4 plugs, and 4 caps to transfer the load to a larger area of undisturbed soil. Diamond Pier is based on pin pile technology which combines the best features of both types of man-made foundations. The steel pins are driven into the undisturbed soil and held in place by the heavy-duty concrete head so no excavation is required during the installation process. The pins spread out as they are driven into the ground which provides a greater bearing area, similar to how tree roots function. This creates increased uplift and lateral resistance to support the structure.
